Realtek AC97 Audio – Event Monitor. alcmtr.exe monitors the performance of your Realtek audio device, the program also monitors and tracks other user activity and sends this data back to Realtek. Even though the program is considered safe it has been branded as spyware by some anti-spyware programs. We still recommend you leave it active as it is safe and users have reported audio problems after removing it from startup.
